My passion for theatre is simple: to create empathy
As artists we have the opportunity to introduce people who would never normally interact. Inequity happens at every level of society and we tend to be blind to it, but there’s nothing like personal experience to open our eyes.
Art, theatre specifically, has a way of making people digest complicated issues and search for the truth. I believe good art should never give you the answer, it should just make you question your answer and send you into an exploration of your beliefs.
I pursue this career to create art that questions the accepted norms and furthers the quest of equality.
